THE ENGINE’S GREEN SERVICE

HOW DO YOU PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND REDUCE THE RISK OF FAILING THE ROADWORTHINESS TEST?

Since January 1st, 2019, the roadworthiness test has been stricter for diesel vehicles. The DPF is targeted by the government which wants to take action to prevent its illegal removal. More sensitive opacimeters will be able to identify the most polluting vehicles and those that have been tampered with by removing their DPF.
From 2019 to 2022, the roadworthiness test will be required to include the 5-GAS DIAGNOSIS:

  • Nitrogen oxides (NOX)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Carbon dioxide (CO²)
  • Burned Hydrocarbons (HC)
  • Oxygen (O2))
  • Fine particles emitted by the vehiclee

BY REGULARLY SERVICING THE COMBUSTION SYSTEM

Green servicing increases engine reliability, preserves air quality and prevents costly breakdowns. Indeed, the majority of breakdowns on recent diesel engines are due to the fouling up of the components located in the combustion system. And when you know that the cost of replacing a single component comes to at least several hundred euros, or even several thousand euros, it is easy to understand the importance of thorough regular cleaning.
